Life Lately

Hello, people! I'm enjoying my holidays~ and I this past few days I've visited some places in my city, Bandung. A few weeks ago I saw a new coffee shop not too far from my house and it looks welcoming (I looove coffee), so I decided to go there with my brother. The place is called Noah's Barn Coffeenery (noahsbarn.com), located on Jl. Garuda no. 39. The coffee tastes great, they used brown sugar, and the coffee art is cute. They also provide magazine and free wi-fi. The place is a pretty small, but it's gonna be expanded soon, which is a good news, because I love it there.

I also went to an Italian restaurant called Fashion Pasta, Resor Dago Pakar no. 18A. The place is nice, so my friends and I took a lot of photos there. We ordered cream pudding and pizza, and spent a few hours chatting and reading magazines.

In my spare time, I tried to draw So Ji Sub (again), and it finally looks like him, right? Haha! I think I'm obsessed!

To Love or To Be Loved

I have a question. Which one do you choose?

1. To love more 
2. To be loved more 

Most people will say, I want to love as much as I am love. I want to be loved as much as I love. But unfortunately, that’s impossible. And people then will choose no. 2: to be loved more.

Now let me tell you a story.

A woman loves a man, and one day she starts thinking, “How much does he love me? Does he love me as much as I love him?”

She starts paying attention in everything he does, how he treats her, how he reacts to everything she says, and he does this to guess how much he loves her. And then, there will be 2 possibilities:

First, she thinks her man loves her more than she loves him. And it feels okay for her.

Second, she thinks she gives more love to her man more than she receives. In this case, she becomes afraid. “He’ll leave me for another woman. He’s gonna hurt me.” She then tries to give less love in order to protect herself.

Now, how about her man? He does the same, wondering, and starts guessing.


I think you’ve already known the ending. They both will try to love less. Until one day, love becomes that unfamiliar thing in their hearts. I guess this is why we rarely find happy old couples. It’s because we’re too afraid to love. We’re afraid that loving someone so much will hurt us. We’re wrong. Love doesn’t hurt us. It hurts when we no longer have love in our hearts.

So, starting from now, you better choose no. 1: to love more. (And in this case I think you have also known the ending).

Easy Marshmallow Recipe

This is very easy... and yummy! Try this!

What you need:

crispy rice cereal

semi-sweet or dark choco chips

marshmallow

What you need to do:

• Put a bowl of choco chips in microwave, heat for 1 minute. Stir. Heat again for 2 minutes. Stir again, it should melt completely
• Dip the marshmallow to melted chocolate, and then to a bowl of crispy rice.
• Arrange on a microwavable plate. Heat in the microwave for about 25 - 30 seconds. The marshmallow will get bigger (and believe me, the process is fun to watch)

• Keep in a refrigerator! Enjoy!

 

Daily Doodle: Forever Friends

Yesterday I tried to draw the famous cute bear, Forever Friends. But then, I couldn't find the right color for the bears from my coloring pencils. Maybe I need to buy the set with more colors...

However, I then colored the picture with water color, and Ta-da!!!

Let me introduce you to my favorite actor, the most handsome 42 years old man, Cha Seung Won!

His latest drama is The Greatest Love, and he did a perfect job delivering his character, Dokko Jin, the arrogant top star, and stole everyone's heart (including me) :)
