When I studied architecture in college, I used some types of papers: Padalarang paper for pencil sketches (it's called Padalarang paper because the paper factory is located in Padalarang), Manila paper for ink sketches, and Concord or Canson paper for watercolor drawings. I love Canson the most but it's more expensive than the rest. We used to bought a pack consists of 4 sheets of A3.
Some time ago I spotted an art supplies store "Artemedia" at Festival Citylink, Bandung. They sell some kinds of sketchbooks so I decided to buy one of the most expensive sketchbooks I've ever bought in my life, XL AQUARELLE from Canson.
The sketchbook costs Rp 102.000 (A4) and Rp 172.000 (A3). Each has 30 sheets of 140 lb paper, so it's thick enough to make watercolor drawings.
I love the texture of the paper and it's also nice for pencil & colored pencil drawings.
So, I love it. Even it's more expensive than my previous ones, it makes drawing more fun because I can try various art medium without damaging the paper.
I'm back because I want to write: "Go watch tvN's Heart To Heart because it's really good and it deserves so much love from as many people as possible!"
Love the story, love the OSTs (calling all K-indie lovers!), love the cast (awesome chemistry), love everything about this drama. There are still 10 episodes left, I hope this drama will stay awesome till the end *crossing all my fingers and toes*.

What is the drama about?
Our main character is Cha Hong Do (Choi Kang Hee), who is afraid of meeting people. She lived with her grandmother, but after her grandma passed away, she spent most of her time staying at home. She wears helmet when she needs to go outside, and disguises as an old lady to earn her living as a housemaid.
But this is a romantic comedy, and in dramaland, even the most awkward woman who looked like 80 years old grandma at times and look like Power Ranger at other times will get involved with at least two hot oppas.
Hong Do had a crush on Detective Jang Doo Soo (Lee Jae Yoon / Hot Oppa #1), who helped her when there was a robbery in her house. Because she wanted to see him, she went out of her house wearing helmet and dance Bar Bar Bar, and went to Detective Jang's house to bring him side dishes she made for the past 7 years.
Hong Do wants to cure her social phobia, so she went to a psychiatrist, Go Yi Suk (Chun Jung Myung / Hot Oppas #2). Then things happened. A lot of exciting things. Go watch it, I won't spoil it.

We can finally see him again every Wednesday and Thursday night, in SBS drama titled "You're All Surrounded". His movie "High Heels" is also coming soon this June, but we'll get to that later.
If you live in Dramaland, I believe lately you have nightmare everyday. Because almost ongoing dramas these days are too emotional, dark, thrilling, giving-you-headache kind of dramas. You may also find it hard to choose because there are a lot of new dramas coming your way. Let me tell you, "You're All Surrounded by Hot Police" is the answer. Even it's not pure comedy (because there are still blood, angry people, revenge), at least it feels like a refreshing drama (for your mind and your eyes) that will make you fall in love.
Why?
Cha Seung Won. I don't even have to tell you why. It's obvious, he's Cha Seung Won. The hottest ahjussi out there.
Lee Seung Gi. He's Yoona's, but he's also loved by every kdrama fangirls I know.
Ahn Jae Hyun. Cheon Song Yi's adorable brother. Eye candy. Handsome and cute. It's unfair.
Go Ara. Tough girl. Leaving Trash Oppa and Chilbongie to get Lee Seung Gi (virtual high five if you watch Reply 1994 and love it).
Hot men in uniform. Guns. Nuff said.
Most of the first episode is like Reply 2003 (spot Kim Dongwan and Shin Hyesung!) because they want to show you why Kim Ji Yong (Lee Seung Gi) becomes a policeman. His mother is killed because she stood as a witness in court for a murder case. The detective who handle that case was Seo Pan Suk (Cha Seung Won). He tried to convince Ji Yong's mother to stand as a witness and said he would protect her from the bad men who threatened her. He obviously failed to keep his promise, and Ji Yong thought he was one of the bad men (yes, things make it look like he's one of them but I still think it's a misunderstanding). Grown up Ji Yong came back with new identity, Eun Dae Gu, new recruits in the violent crime unit at Gangnam Police Station and worked under Seo Pan Suk. What will happen? Just watch it because I don't know. Only first two episodes are out, so watch it while it's hot!
PS: Dingdong appeared as a cameo too. Remember this kid from The Greatest Love? Still cute and chubby! :)))
I've been waiting impatiently for these songs to be released. I was watching Cunning Single Lady when I heard sweet familiar voice of her. And strangely I always fall in love instantly with most of her songs. She visited Jakarta some time ago but I can't be there, so sad. Hope she'll visit again soon!

If there's something better than k-drama and k-pop, it's definitely k-food. Korean food. Aka heaven on earth.
Unfortunately there aren't many Korean restaurants in Bandung. But don't worry, there are still some places you can visit to try all the food you usually see in those k-dramas.
One recommended Korean restaurant you should visit is Myeongga,located at Jl. Dr. Sutami No.52A Setra Sari, Bandung. A while ago I went there with my friends and ordered a lot of food. They also give free korean side dish (banchan), of course, including kimchi. Ah, and free ice cream or coffee!
Today a new drama, The Heirs (상속자들) - SBS, will air its first episode. The stars look promising, flawless faces here, there, and everywhere. Well maybe it's needed to fill the big hole that remains in every girl's heart after Joo Joong Won left us to live happily ever after with Tae Gong Shil.

The Master's Sun ended last night. Let's all take a moment to mourn over our loss of one of the best drama in k-drama history.
Because we need to finish what we started I owe hundreds people who read Man to Adore: So Ji Sub (Part 1), and because many of you seem to have missed So Ji Sub already, now I'm sitting in front of my lappie to write this post. There are still a lot of things to write about our dearest So Ji Sub ahjussi oppa, and as promised, this post will be about his movies. (Does it mean there will be part 3? Let's wait and see.)
So Ji Sub's movie list is not as long as his drama list, so I guess this post will have more pics than the first one. Yay!

I have only watch 4 So Ji Sub's movies: Rough Cut, Sophie's Revenge, Always, and A Company Man.
We'll start with Rough Cut (2008).

I'm actually not a big fan of action movie, but the last scene in this movie made me drop my jaw. It was one intense hitting-punching-jabbing scene.
And all the mud! I didn't know who is who anymore...
Starring So Ji Sub and Kang Ji Hwan, this movie gave them both many awards. The story writer is Mr. Kim Ki Duk (he's a genius!), and if you're a fan of k-movie I'm sure you've heard his name. Just like other Kim Ki Duk's movies, Rough Cut has a dark aura (?) and unique storyline. Watch it!
Chic Joo Joong Won is Gangster Gang Pae
Next, we have Sophie's Revenge (2009). It's a Chinese-Korean movie (although I think the only Korean is So Ji Sub). I wish I can see more of So Ji Sub in the movie, but sadly he's not the leading role (how come!?).

The cast of this movie are all famous stars (Zhang Zi Yi, Peter Ho, So Ji Sub, Fan Bing Bing, Ruby Lin). A light romantic-comedy you can watch when you have too much time in hands. Fun, but honestly, forgettable.

If I have to pick one word to describe this movie, it will be 'BEAUTIFUL'. If I can pick 2 words: 'VERY BEAUTIFUL'. Beautiful story, cast, cinematography, songs... I LOVE it, I can watch this movie again and again and I'll still love it.

So what's this movie about? Cheol Min (So Ji Sub) is an ex-boxer who had a dark past and now living his life without purpose. He's hired as a parking lot attendant and on his first day he met Jung Hwa (Han Hyo Joo), a blind woman who always goes to the booth to watch drama with the previous parking attendant ahjussi. They start to know each other and fall in love, but...
Okay, I'll stop. I don't want to ruin it, because you should watch this beautiful movie with your own eyes.

Hyeong Do (So Ji Sub) looks like an ordinary (with extraordinary look) employee, but he's actually a hitman.
If only this guy works in my office...
But of course hitman is also an ordinary human, as he can fall in love too, and Hyeong Do found himself falling for a single mother of two, Su Yeon (Lee Mi Yeon). He wants to change his life and quit his job, but of course it's not easy. Choose your job well, people.
So Ji Sub wearing suit and tie, holding a gun. There will be many victims.

So, finally it's Wednesday. Last week was a torture. Only one episode was aired due to Chuseok.
And gonestly, last week's episode is not my favorite. Okay, I was glad Joo-goon is not dead. More than glad. But... amnesia? Are you really gonna go there, Hong Sisters? :(
But then again, there were many cute scenes because Joo-goon doesn't remember Tae-yang but his body somehow remembers her. And everyone (except Aunty and Evil Twin), even the trash can ghost even tried to help him remember Tae-yang. Please regain your memory soon, Joo-goon. Before I smack your head.
Last One. I think this will be the last song from The Master's Sun OST. It also means the drama will end soon. Let's all cry together and comfort each other because we'll not be able to see So Ji Sub on TV twice a week. Huhu huhuhuhu.

If you're maybe one of the rare regular visitors of this blog, you must have known that I adore So Ji Sub. I've talked about So Ji Sub so many times before The Master's Sun, before he becomes the most wanted ahjussi hottie in South Korea. Now that he becomes one, I feel like I need to write a "So Ji Sub Special", for the sake of his new fans. (Where have you been, girls? But it's okay, it's not too late to know him now.)

This is So Ji Sub. He's in mid 30s (what!?) and he gets more gorgeous as he gets older..., actually he looks like he doesn't age. He gets younger.
Who is So Ji Sub? Most people may know him as an actor, but wait, he's also a rapper, photographer, cafe owner... okay I'll get to that later. I'll talk about Actor So Ji Sub first.
Before becoming Joo-goon, So Ji Sub has acted in many dramas and films. In this post, I will only talk about the ones I've seen. I first saw him in Glass Slippers (2002). I did't actually watch the drama, I just sometimes took a glance while my parents were watching it every night in the living room. I was 14 and dolls seemed more interesting than hot ahjussis, but I somehow remember him and instantly recognized him when I saw I'm Sorry I Love You later.

In Glass Slippers, he acted as a "Bruce Lee wannabe", covered in bruises all the time, has no money (Dramaland's unspoken rule #1: men who aren't bloody rich have to be good at fighting), and loves a woman. That's all I can remember. Maybe I should find the drama and watch it later.
So Ji Sub | I'm Sorry I Love You
In I'm Sorry I Love You (2004), he became the most unfortunate man in the world. [Spoiler!] Abandoned by his mother, shot in the head protecting his ex-girlfriend who's marrying someone else, given only several months to live, fell in love with a woman who loved his step brother, and when the woman finally fell for him, he died. And then the woman killed herself. I can hardly remember any happy scenes from the drama, I was crying inside all the time. Even the rare happy scenes made me cry too. The only happy thing is you can see a lot of half naked So Ji Sub here. Yes, it's definitely something to be happy about. I'm watching the drama again because it's been 9 years... and I'm still crying over this poor man.

And then there is Cain and Abel (2009). So Ji Sub, as a doctor. I'll hang out at the hospital every day.

Everyone who says that Gong Hyo jin is the luckiest actress may not know Han Ji Min. Well, Gong Hyo Jin has had her hand on Cha Seung Won and So Ji Sub, but Han Ji Min got Eric Mun (twice!) and So Ji Sub. Han Ji Min definitely wins this round, because Eric Mun even risked his life to save her from a freaky accident while filming Wolf (2006) and then she met a hot doctor, Lee Cho In in Cain and Abel. There was even marriage rumor between So Ji Sub and Han Ji Min at that time because of the chemistry between them.

I also tried to watch Road No. 1 (2010). Until this day I haven't finished it. Maybe I just don't really into guns and tanks. And his face is covered in mud all the time. So Ji Sub holding gun looks sexy though.

Ghost / Phantom (2012). It's a good drama, with awesome plot, brilliantly planned, and has so many twists. If you love drama about investigation, criminal case, etc, you should check this out. If you love So Ji Sub in black suit, you really shouldn't miss this one. But if you're looking for romance, this is not the one for you, you should just watch him in...
So Ji Sub | The Master's Sun
The Master's Sun (2013). This is So Ji Sub's latest drama. Written by Hong Sisters, this is guaranteed to make your heart flutter. In this drama, he acted as Joo-goon. He's a rich CEO of Kingdom Company, but that's not why our leading actress, Gong Hyo Jin as Tae-yang, is attracted to him. She sees him as something else, a ghost repellent. She can see ghost, but when she touches him, POOF!, the ghosts disappear. And now every woman wants to touch him too. We don't need that since we (mostly?) can't see ghost, but I'm sure touching So Ji Sub will make all our problems disappear.

This ongoing drama is hilarious, romantic, spooky, funny, sad, a full packaged drama. One of the best drama I've seen so far. There are also so many quotable lines and cute moments you're gonna remember for a long time.
