Korean Drama to Watch: That Winter, The Wind Blows

Song Hye Kyo is back! Finally after 5 years we can see her again on the small screen. This time she’s paired with Jo In Sung, and of course, they look good together.

The drama is a remake of a Japanese drama titled "Ai Nante Irane Yon, Natsu" (2002), which was also previously remade in Korea through a movie “Love Me Not” (2006).

I’ve watched the first 3 episodes of the drama, and I’m hooked. The first thing I notice is the beautiful cinematography.

I always love dramas with beautiful cinematography. The last Korean drama with a lot of beautiful scenes that I watch is Love Rain. Even though in my opinion the plot was “so-so”, I really enjoyed watching all episodes of the drama.

I think “That Winter The Wind Blows” (그 겨울, 바람이 분다) have that quality too, and moreover, the plot is, so far, quite interesting. The leading actor and actress, Jo In Sung and Song Hye Gyo, do their work really well. They have strongly formed their characters.

The story is about Oh Soo (Jo In Sung), a man was abandoned under a tree when he was a baby. He was mistaken as the son of a rich businessman, because he has the same name with his friend who was actually killed in an accident. Because he needs to pay his debt within 100 days, he pretended to be his friend Oh Soo, thinking that he will be able to get some money.

The problem is he has to trick Oh Soo’s blind sister, Oh Young (Song Hye Kyo), a blind woman who inherits all her father’s wealth. After entering the house pretending to be her brother, Oh Soo finds out that Oh Young is actually surrounded by people who want her money. After getting to know her, Oh Soo finds himself attracted to her and tries to protect her.

I don’t know what will happen next, but let’s find out together! Also, the drama has awesome supporting actor and actress, Kim Bum and A Pink’s Eunji!
